Vintage Obsession: 80s Power Pumps

Posted on | April 30, 2012 | 6 Comments

My latest obsession is 80s pumps. I just love the shape of them, from the pointy (but not too pointy) toe, the fat-to-skinny heel, and the ladylike curve of the side of the shoe. They’ve got a sassy, fun feel to them. Here are a few favorites I’ve found recently.

Clockwise from top left: 80s heels from Etsy sellers SkinnyandBernie, TigerlillyFrocks, CleverlyCurated, StarletsVintage, OldSchoolSwank.

Love the chic finds. I’m mad for brights too. Wear your sunglasses when you check this one out!

I literally have worn the living daylights out of my mom’s old maroon coach ones. They’re so great, because they’re the perfect twist on the heel – so always add little something different to a potentially ordinary outfit.

    Great wee shoe feature here.

Susan, Liz D. turned me on to your blog. (We’re at the same firm.) Love the 80s shoes, which fit right in with my current obsession: Sue Ellen Ewing on Dallas, circa 1980ish. The makeup, the hair, the clothes, the drinking problem! Love it all.
